You Might Be a Candidate For Project Journey Research Study

Meghan Rossi is a Ph.D. student at Dalhousie University’s Couples and Sexual Health Research Laboratory. I was so happy that she came on The Egg Whisperer Show to tell me about her study. It’s called Project Journey.

Here is a bit more about the study from Meghan.

As you know, during fertility treatment or medically assisted reproduction, couples often experience significant changes to their psychological, relationship, and sexual well-being. Our study, Project Journey, aims to examine how couples navigate this process in order to better understand and improve upon their experiences during fertility treatment or medically assisted reproduction.

We are currently seeking couples to participate in this research. At a high level, we are seeking couples who are within 6 months of their first visit to a fertility clinic to complete surveys every 6 months for 2 years (i.e., 5 surveys total). The surveys take about one hour each, and participants will be compensated for their time. Both members of the couple must agree to participate. Project Journey is inclusive to all bodies, gender identities, and sexual orientations.
